
The PA-32R-301 Saratoga SP is a single engine light aircraft designed and manufactured by Piper Aircraft. Flown for the first time in 1975, Piper continued to produce the Saratoga until 2009. It features a tapered wing, unlike its predecessors, and a retractable landing gear which distinguishes it from the Piper Cherokee Six. These aircraft are common among private owners, mostly notably, the late John F Kennedy Jr. They are also used as business/touring aircraft.
